Probably Good Is Looking for a New CEO/Executive Director

Probably Good is seeking an experienced leader, who can oversee the organization’s day-to-day management and long-term strategy as its CEO/Executive Director.

Role responsibilities

  • Strategy: Formulating, alongside with the board, PG’s long-term strategy for growth and impact. Working to revise and improve it continuously.
  • Day-to-day management: Making decisions on prioritization of work, content creation, projects and growth.
  • Leadership: Leading a team of 5-10 people. We have a fantastic team and believe it will be a pleasure to work with them and lead them.
  • Communication: Probably Good’s tone and communication style has been of critical importance to us and our audience. Setting and keeping to a tone that speaks to our strengths and our audience is a critical part of our success.

Requirements

  • Connection and dedication to Probably Good’s mission: Our combination of belief in scale-sensitive impact and epistemic humility is part of our organizational identity which is core to Probably Good. A CEO/Executive Director would have to connect to this mindset to be successful.
  • Experience in people management and leadership: Leading a diverse team across multiple continents and doing so well requires proven abilities in leadership.
  • Experience in project leadership: We’d like to see someone who has a proven ability to “get things done” and make our mission into tangible, ambitious and achievable goals. And then reach them.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset: Probably Good is a small enough organization that we have to rethink and reinvent ourselves over time. We’re looking for someone who would be excited and able to do that.

Location

Our team is fully remote and a successful candidate could be based in a variety of locations. Currently, the team is distributed between UTC-8 and UTC+3.
